Smithsonian Institution, Office of Finance and Administration - World Class Innovator Award
Two winners of the George Land World Class Innovator Award were announced at Convergence 96 -- the Smithsonian Institution's Office of Finance and Administration was the winner in the Government Organization Category and the Ford (MP&L) Team Learning & Creativity Center was the winner in the Large Organi- zation Category.
The award, which was created to recognize innovation and creativity in organizations, was named in honor of George Land, CEO of Leadership 2000, author of *Grow or Die* and co-author of *Breakpoint and Beyond*. Land has been helping organizations become more innovative for over 30 years.
