Innovation Audit

Where Do You Start?

Innovation. Organizations around the world are beginning to understand the critical importance of innovation, yet few know how to do it or even where to begin. A recent A.D. Little survey revealed that fewer than 25% of companies are happy with their current innovation performance.

The logical place to start is where you are. And, the easiest way to understand where you are is to do an innovation assessment that will provide you with specific guidelines for going forward. The need for a practical, easy-to-administer assessment tool led to the development of the Innovation Network's Innovation Audit. This survey is based on a comprehensive study of best practices and the combined thinking of leading innovation experts. It represents the state-of-the-art of what we know about organizational innovation.

Internal and External

The Innovation Audit process not only looks at the perception of employees but, if desired, can include customers, vendors and even stockholders. The survey is self-diagnostic and includes a series of suggestions for specific actions.
