Scott Marchewka's Session Description:
You can see the yellow duck mascot of Manco "Duck"
tape at your local Walmart, OfficeMax, Staples, Lowe's and
other retailers. What you'll find out at Convergence 2000
is how that little duck represents CEO Jack Kahl's philosophies
of servant leadership, relationship selling, and open book
management. Scott Marchewka, Manco's Director of Category
Management, will talk about Kahl, and the extraordinary
culture of Manco that values trust, partnering and learning,
and thrives on passion, fun and celebration.
When Manco built its current headquarters, they
renamed their street Just Imagine Drive, and the folks there
claim that creativity just happens as a result of the empowered
environment and culture. Jack Kahl is known for his outrageous
celebrations, such as having his head shaved at a company
meeting or swimming the pond. He is just as well known for
his learning philosophy. Visit http://www.manco.com
