George Land Presents 1998 Awards

George Land personally presented the George Land World Class Innovator Awards to the four winners for this year at Convergence 98 in Santa Barbara. The winning organizations are Dell University, Chicago Metropolitan YMCA, Richard Saunders International and The Clorox Company.

The Land award, which was created to recognize innovation and creativity in organizations, was named in honor of George Land, CEO of Leadership 2000, author of Grow or Die and co-author of Breakpoint and Beyond. Land has helped organizations become more innovative for over 30 years.

In a panel discussion following the presentation, representatives of the winning organizations gave a brief overview of the innovation activities within their organizations.
