M&M Mars turned to Catalyst to ensure the success of the company‚s first-ever manufacturing division conference. To help get the participants in sync, we introduced them to our groundbreaking "Beats Work" activity. Starting in small groups, participants learned the basic rhythms of samba, how to play a kaleidoscope of rhythm instruments and how to follow the signals used to shape a samba tune. With a few hundred percussion instruments and the guidance of our expert conductors, we turned 300 candy makers into a crackerjack samba band for a rousing 20-minute performance.
