Stories of Innovation: Understanding the Principles & Foundation of Innovation
Innovation is today's buzz, but it's far more than a word in a mission statement or advertisement. It's more of a symptom - an almost magical symptom - that happens when organizations focus and act on the powerful principles underlying innovation.

What are those principles and how do they align in an organization which has fixed objectives and requirements for survival, such as satisfying customers and generating profits?

Identifying and understanding the principles of innovation and an innovative culture is the focus of this session. Through a series of stories about some of the most powerful innovation transformations in recent business history, this session offers participants a chance to identify principles of innovation for themselves and understand how they guide decisions and strategies.

Innovation is not another quick fix of "fad of the month." It requires deep understanding of principles and the nature of collaborative organizations. The stories shared in this session illustrate the rich, interwoven tapestry of passion, principles and practice that result in innovation. In this highly interactive session, participants will hear stories about some "best practice" organizations and have a chance to find and tell their own stories.

As participants learn more about how other companies approach innovation, they will also build a common understanding and language for making decisions that will jump start the innovation and creativity that can transform their organizations.

Included with each session: Books, Toys and Chocolate!

  • 20 copies of Transformation Thinking: Tools and Techniques That Open the Door to Powerful New Thinking for Every Member of Your Organizations
  • metaphorical and fun toys (some to play with, some to keep)
  • lots of chocolate.

All sessions are tailored to specific client objectives. Daily rate -- $4,500. Sessions of two or more days may require some design time.
