Lynne Snead is currently the
Vice President of the Franklin Covey Project Management Solutions Group, specializing
in project and workload management training and consulting. Lynne is the program author
and developer of Franklin Covey Project Management training programs. Since
joining the former Franklin Quest Company, now Franklin Covey, in 1988, Lynne has
presented these programs to thousands of individuals in major corporations throughout
the United States, as well as Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Franklin,
Lynne served as Project Manager for a computer engineering company specializing in
the design and manufacture of custom communications products. She noted dramatic positive
changes in the productivity of individuals and the company after the managers had
been trained in the Franklin Quest Time Management System.
Intrigued by the organizational
capabilities of the Franklin Planner, Lynne joined Franklin Quest as Director of Public
Seminars in 1987. She worked closely with clients to help create tools and a process
to make the Franklin Planner a practical tool as a complete Project and Workload Management
system.
Lynne authored To Do, Doing,
Done, A Creative Approach to Project Management and Effectively Finishing What Matters
Most, a Simon and Schuster publication. She has recently completed a book with
Jack Phillips and Tim Bothel on Return on Investment in Project Management that
will be released this fall.
Her clients include Anderson
Consulting, Cisco Systems, Cigna Health Care, Disney, Dell Computer, Honeywell and
IBM.
Lynne is on the Board of Directors
for the Innovation Network, a network of consultants focusing on innovation and creativity
in business. She has taught Learning Skills at the University of Utah and has a background
in both Educational Psychology and Data Processing.
"I enjoy helping individuals
and organizations get focused on successfully accomplishing their most important strategic
objectives and realize that they can actually enjoy the process with confidence and
creativity."
