Business Challenge

Our client was experiencing very high acquisition rates but at the same time business profit lines were unprofitable. The major reason for this was extremely high attrition rates. Our client was very good at attracting new customers but was having a hard time converting trial customers to paying customers.

Solution
Creation of a customer and prospect data warehouse with sophisticated reporting and analysis capabilities. Reports and cubes were designed with relevant data to enable the client to mine data effectively across all channels. Comparative analysis across the active customer base vs churning cutstomers identified many reasons for churn behaviour.   Multiple churn behaviour predictors were established based on the client having the available data on hand for analysis.

Business Results
Our client was able to develop pro-active strategies and campaigns designed to reduce the large churn factor. A customer training program was developed and introduced with excellent results .
